Thinking of going on your own journey?
What we accomplished here was nothing short of incredible. To go on such a long journey and come out the other side not only successful, but with memories and stories that will last a lifetime. If you are tempted to take part in your own journey, then we have two words of advice for you: do it.
The journey will be long, difficult, and sometimes exhausting, but if there’s one thing that can be said for banding together with those on the journey with you and pushing through the moredifficult moments, it’s that you will bond with people and generate an adventurous rapport hard to find anywhere else.
But what kind of journey should you go on? Well, this very much depends on you and what you’re interested in. The journey isn’t going to be worth it if you aren’t interested or enthused by the prospect of taking part in it. Whether you want to take part in a huge party poker tournament or travel the world by boat, your journey has to be something that excites you and gets you up in the morning.
It’s also worth thinking about the practical side of things – how much the journey will cost, what you’ll need, who is best to take with you, what kind of training might best prepare you. Some people want to go on a round-the-world tour, some people want to climb five mountains in a year. Either way, in order to ensure things go well, it’s best to go in prepared.
