Why

The answer to this question is simple: because traveling by plane is just not as fun …

Side by Side team plans to cross 14 countries in 100 days through several cities of the legendary SilkRoad such as Xi’an, Tashkent, Samarkand or Ankara. Inspired by the cultural exchanges that shaped the Silk Road, Side by Side wants this project to be a unique human adventure by showing that cultural differences can be overcome and even become a real strength.

With their inimitable vintage touch, sidecars are wide enough to host a few friends and the spare parts, are robust enough to cover 17 000 km and comfortable enough to nap.
The team expects to bring back more than 10,000 photos and 200 hours of video of the expedition.

Moreover, no Chinese has ever traveled the Silk Road by sidecar before.
